Laura Grudniewska
Born in 1993 in Warsaw, she studied Media Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and Philosophy at the University of Warsaw. In 2016, she received her Master of Arts cum laude for her work at Mirosław Bałka’s Studio of Spatial Activities. Her works are site-specific and include videos, performances and paintings. In her practice, she seeks to exert a strong emotional impact on her audiences, exploring the liminalities of contemporary culture and designing sensual experiences. She is currently active in the ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) scene on YouTube.
Her works have been featured in exhibitions including Force Field (Officine 300 Giudecca, Venice 2019), Action Lublin! Chapter 2 (Labirynt Gallery, Lublin 2018), NARRACJE 9 (Brzeźno beach, Gdańsk 2017), Visual Spa (Błękitny Wieżowiec, Warsaw 2016), The Artists (Zachęta National Gallery of Art, Warsaw 2016), Wola Warm+Up (Wola Museum, Warsaw 2016), Videonews (Labirynt Gallery, Lublin 2015), First International Festival of Schools of Art and Design (Accademia Albertina Torino, 2015), Test Exposure (WRO Media Art Biennale, Wrocław 2015) and Myths (Fondazione Pastificio Cerere, Rzym, 2014).
